A leader is more than just the title on the door, and psychologist and coach Regina Romero knows that understanding the whole person—values, motivations, relationships, and challenges—is critical to guiding an executive down the path to success. By listening carefully to not only their goals and interests, but how they make choices among the intense demands of their professional and personal lives, Regina helps clients better understand themselves and how they can most positively impact people, organizations, and their sense of accomplishment.

With more than 20 years of experience in executive coaching, group facilitation, and leadership development, Regina has worked closely with diverse senior leaders in the healthcare, financial, manufacturing, technology, and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as academia, the federal government, and nonprofits.

An astute and insightful advisor, Regina helps leaders think through difficult issues at multiple levels and navigate complex operational, political, and cultural challenges. Her training in psychology and grasp of group dynamics make her an ideal mentor to anyone who wants to master the interplay of people interacting in organizations. Regina is especially skilled at helping executives work through individual and systemic transition issues. She is adept at providing honest, non-judgmental, real-time feedback to executives who want to lead courageously and create an environment in which others can flourish.

Some of her recent clients include AARP, Abbott Spine, American Nurses Association, Association for Science and Technology Centers, DC Children's Advocacy Center, International Center for Research on Women, HRSA, Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, Lockheed Martin, MedImmune, NIH, Overseas Private Investment Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, RLJ Development LLC, Urban Libraries Council, and the US Commerce Department.
